Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
