The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
