Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The Most Merciful 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created the human being 3 He hath taught him utterance. 4 The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; 10 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths, 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 Which of the powers of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 Out of them come pearls and coral. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 His too are the ships that run, raised up in the sea like land-marks. 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25
