▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away; 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 28 Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter. 29 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 30 We will attend to you, O prominent beings. 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law. 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 36 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - 37 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 38 So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 This is hell, which the criminals deny. 43 They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. 44 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 45
