When God said: "O Jesus, I will take you to Myself and exalt you, and rid you of the infidels, and hold those who follow you above those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. You have then to come back to Me when I will judge between you in what you were at variance." 55 I shall sternly punish the unbelievers in this life and in the life to come and no one will help them. 56 "As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong." 57 This which We recite to you is a revelation and a wise reminder. 58 Verily, in the sight of God, the nature of Jesus is as the nature of Adam, whom He created out of dust and then said unto him, "Be" - and he is. 59 O listener! (followers of this Prophet) This is the Truth from your Lord, so never be of those who doubt. 60 Tell those who dispute this with you even after the knowledge that has reached you: "Come, let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, and pray and solicit God to condemn those who lie." 61 This is the true story. There is no god but God, and assuredly God is the All-mighty, the All-wise. 62 And if they turn away [from this truth] - behold, God has full knowledge of the spreaders of corruption. 63
