▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
