▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
