▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
