BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
