The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 And spreading shade, 30 and flowing water 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 and made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
