۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
