▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
