Al-Waaqe'ah 2 of 3
These (people of the right hand) consist of many from the ancient 39 And a crowd of the later. 40 The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 41 (they shall live) amid burning winds and boiling water, 42 And a shade of black smoke, 43 Nothing (will there be) to refresh, nor to please: 44 Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence, 45 and persisted in the Great Sin, 46 And they used to say: "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be resurrected? 47 What, and our fathers, the ancients' 48 Say: The first and the last, 49 Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." 50 Then verily ye, O ye erring, denying people. 51 you shall eat (the fruit) of the Tree of Zakkum. 52 "Then will ye fill your insides therewith, 53 And shall be drinkers thereon of boiling water. 54 And drink as drinks the thirsty camel. 55 Thus shall they be entertained on the Day of Recompense. 56 It is He who created you, then why do you not affirm the truth? 57 Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. 58 did you create it or did We? 59 It is We Who ordained death upon you and We are not to be frustrated. 60 that We will change you and cause you to grow again in a way you do not know. 61 And certainly you know the first growth, why do you not then mind? 62 Have ye seen that which ye cultivate? 63 Is it you who cause them to grow or do We? 64 If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder, 65 [Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt; 66 Nay! we are deprived. 67 Did you cast a good look at the water that you drink? 68 Did you send it down from the clouds, or did We send it? 69 If We willed We verily could make it bitter. Why then, give ye not thanks? 70 Consider the fire that you strike (and get by friction). 71 Did you make its tree grow or was it We Who made it grow? 72 It is We who have made it a means to remind [you of Us,] and a comfort for all who are lost and hungry in the wilderness [of their lives]. 73 Glorify, then, (O Prophet), the name of your Great Lord. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
