1/2 Hizb 54

۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
