Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
