۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
