۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a book that is protected 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
