۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
