۞ Did you not see those who befriended those upon whom is Allah’s wrath? They are neither of you nor of these – and they swear a false oath, whereas they know. 14 Allah hath gotten ready for them a torment grievous; verily vile is that which they have been working. 15 They have taken their oaths as a covering, and barred from God's way; so there awaits them a humbling chastisement. 16 Neither their riches nor their children shall avail them anything against God; those -- they are the inhabitants of the Fire, therein dwelling forever. 17 On the Day when God will raise them all from the dead, they will swear before Him as they [now] swear before you, thinking that they are on firm ground [in their assumptions]. Oh, verily, it is they, they who are the [greatest] liars! 18 Satan has dominated them and has made them forget the guidance of God. They are Satan's party and the party of Satan will certainly suffer a great loss. 19 Verily those; who oppose Allah and His apostle - they are among the lowest. 20 God has written, 'I shall assuredly be the victor, I and My Messengers.' Surely God is All-strong, All-mighty. 21 Thou wilt not find folk who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His messenger, even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brethren or their clan. As for such, He hath written faith upon their hearts and hath strengthened them with a Spirit from Him, and He will bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide. Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. They are Allah's party. Lo! is it not Allah's party who are the successful? 22
