Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things. 1 who created death and life, that He might try you which of you is fairest in works; and He is the All-mighty, the All-forgiving -- 2 He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? 3 Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued. 4 And indeed, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with lights, and have made them the object of futile guesses for the evil ones [from among men]: and for them have We readied suffering through a blazing flame 5 Those who are bent on blaspheming against their Lord will have the punishment of Hell: an evil destination. 6 When they are thrown into hell, they will hear its roaring while it boils. 7 as though bursting with rage. Each time a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, "Did no warner come to you?" 8 They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'" 9 And they say: Had we been wont to listen or have sense, we had not been among the dwellers in the flames. 10 So they shall acknowledge their sins, but far will be (forgiveness) from the inmates of the burning fire. 11 [As against this,] behold, for those who stand in awe of God although He is beyond the reach of their perception, there is forgiveness in store and a great reward. 12 And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts. 13 How could it be that He who has created [all] should not know [all]? Yea, He alone is unfathomable [in His wisdom,] aware! 14
