Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you then, how do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask thou of them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or is it that they have partners in worship? So they should bring their appointed partners, if they are truthful. 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 Their eyes will be lowered and disgrace will cover them. They had certainly been told to prostrate themselves before God when they were safe and sound. 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 but [as it was,] his Sustainer had elected him and placed him among the righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 Yet it is purely an admonition to mankind. 52
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
