Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Inevitable Calamity! 1 What is the Inevitable Reality? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that laying-bare of the truth will be? 3 Samood and Ad called the striking calamity a lie. 4 The Thamuds were destroyed by a violent blast of sound. 5 And as for A’ad, they were destroyed by a severe thundering windstorm. 6 Which He sent to assail them for seven nights and eight days running. You should have seen the people prostrate like the decayed trunks of date-palm trees. 7 and dost thou now see any remnant of them? 8 The Pharaoh, those who lived before him and the people of the Subverted Cities all persisted in doing evil. 9 They therefore disobeyed the Noble Messengers of their Lord so He seized them with an intense seizure. 10 But We bore you away in the Ark, when the waters rose high, 11 so that We might make it an instructive event for you, and retentive ears might preserve its memory. 12 Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one), 13 And the earth and mountains heaved and crushed to powder with one levelling blow, 14 On that day, the inevitable event will take place 15 and heaven shall be split, for upon that day it shall be very frail, 16 and the angels will stand on the sides, with eight of them bearing aloft the Throne of your Lord on that Day. 17 On that day you shall be exposed, not one secret of yours concealed. 18 So whoever is given his book in his right hand he will say, “Take, read my account!” 19 "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!" 20 Then he shall find himself in a life of bliss; 21 In an elevated garden, 22 with fruits within easy reach. 23 (They will be told): “Eat and drink with good cheer as a reward for the good deeds you did in the days that have passed by.” 24 Then as to him who shall be vouchsafed his book in his left hand, he shall say: Oh! would that I had not been vouchsafed my book. 25 "And that I had never realised how my account (stood)! 26 "Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me! 27 My wealth has not availed me, 28 There hath perished from me my authority. 29 [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him. 30 Then throw him in the blazing Fire. 31 "Then fasten him with a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!" 32 Indeed, he did not use to believe in Allah, the Most Great, 33 nor would he urge the feeding of the poor. 34 That is why he has no friend today, 35 nor any food except foul pus 36 None will eat except the Khati'un (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists, etc.). 37

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
