So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
