So I swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
