Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And what ye see not, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
