Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised, 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
