Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. 21 And who have plotted a tremendous plot 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. 25 Noah prayed, "O my Lord! Do not leave on earth a single one of those who deny the truth -- 26 Verily if Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thine bondmen and will beget not save sinning infidels, 27 Forgive me, My Lord, and my parents, and whosoever seeks refuge in my house as a believer, and the believers men and women alike, and do not increase the harmdoers except in ruin' 28
