Say: 'I call only upon my Lord, and I do not associate with Him anyone. 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 excepting a Deliverance from God and His Messages. And whoso rebels against God and His messenger, for him there awaits the Fire of Gehenna; therein they shall dwell forever.' 23 Till the time when they will see what they are promised – so they will now come to know whose aide is weak, and who is lesser in number. 24 Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. 25 He is the knower of the Unknown, and He does not divulge His secret to any one 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
