Say thou: I simply call upon Allah, and I associate not with Him any-one. 20 Say thou: verily I own not for you power of hurt nor of benefit 21 Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term: 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 Save unto an apostle chosen. And then He causeth to go before him and behind him a guard. 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
