Nay, by the Moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
