NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning to mankind, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
