Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 Does man think We shall not put his bones together? 3 Surely yes, why not? We can properly make all his phalanxes. 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 He asks: “When will the Day of Resurrection be?” 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together 9 That day man will say: "Where can I find escape?" 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. 12 Man shall on that day be informed of what he sent before and (what he) put off. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though he might make up excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 We shall be responsible for its collection and its recitation. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 But no. You love this transient life, 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 Waiting for their Lord. 23 and some faces on that Day will be gloomy, 24 knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And it is asked: "Is there any reciter of charms and amulets?" 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 that will be the time to be driven to one's Lord. 30
