Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul. 2 Does man assume that We will never assemble his bones? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 In fact, people want to have eternal life in this world. 5 He asks: “When will the Day of Resurrection be?” 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 And the moon becomes dark, 8 And the sun and moon are conjoined, 9 On that day man will cry out, “Where shall I flee?” 10 Alas! No refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). 13 In fact man is a witness against himself, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 Lo! upon Us (resteth) the putting together thereof and the reading thereof. 17 Thus, when We recite it, follow thou its wording [with all thy mind]: 18 We shall be responsible for its explanation. 19 Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now 20 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 No! When the soul has reached the collar bones 26 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 27 And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting; 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
