For he neither trusted, nor prayed. 31 But [instead], he denied and turned away. 32 And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]. 33 [And yet, O man, thine end comes hourly] nearer unto thee, and nearer 34 Again, woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you! 35 Does man, then, think that he is to be left to himself, to go about at will? 36 Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted? 37 Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. 38 And made of him the two sexes, male and female. 39 Is not That One then Able to quicken the dead? 40
