The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned? 1 We created man of a sperm-drop, a mingling, and We made him hearing, seeing. 2 We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. 3 For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire. 4 The virtuous shall drink from a cup tempered with camphor water. 5 A fountain from which the servants of Allah shall drink; they make it to flow a (goodly) flowing forth. 6 They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide. 7 And they give food out of love for Him to the poor and the orphan and the captive: 8 (saying): “We feed you only for Allah's sake; we do not seek of you any recompense or thanks, 9 Truly, we fear from our Lord a woefully grim Day." 10 But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy. 11 and recompense them for their patience with a Garden, and robes of silk. 12 Reclining therein upon couches, they shall behold therein neither sun nor hurting cold. 13 The shades of Paradise will bend over them, and its fruits will be brought within their easy reach; 14 and passed around them shall be silver vessels, and crystal goblets, 15 (Bright as) glass but (made) of silver, which they (themselves) have measured to the measure (of their deeds). 16 There will they drink a cup flavoured with ginger 17 from a flowing spring called Salsabil. 18 ۞ And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls. 19 And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion. 20 Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy. 21 'See, this is your recompense, your striving is thanked' 22

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
