Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till a limit known? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
