Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 Till a limit known? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
