Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40
