In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
