Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those that strike violently, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
