Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 and the severally severing 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 till a known term decreed? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
