The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Concerning what are they disputing? 1 About the great news - 2 Concerning which they differ. 3 No! They are going to know. 4 Nay, again, but they will come to know! 5 Have We not spread the earth like a bed, 6 And the high hills bulwarks? 7 And We created you in pairs, 8 made sleep for you to rest, 9 And have appointed the night as a cloak, 10 And made the day as a means of subsistence? 11 And constructed above you seven strong [heavens] 12 And have made (therein) a shinning lamp (sun). 13 And then sent down hard rain from the water bearing clouds. 14 so that We may thereby bring forth grain and vegetation, 15 and gardens dense with follage. 16 Indeed, the Day of Decision is an appointed time, 17 The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds (groups); 18 And the heaven will have been opened, and it will have become doors. 19 And the hills are set in motion and become as a mirage. 20 Truly Hell is as a place of ambush, 21 For the transgressors, a place of return, 22 They will remain in it for ages. 23 they shall taste in it no coolness, nor any pleasant drink 24 save boiling water and pus 25 An exact recompense (according to their evil crimes). 26 Indeed they had no fear of the account. 27 But they (impudently) treated Our Signs as false. 28 And all things We have recorded in a Book. 29 So taste (the fruit of what you sowed), for We shall add nothing but torment, 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
