Al-Naba' 2 of 2
[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 Gardens enclosed and vineyards, 32 curvaceous (virgins), of equal age 33 and cups full of wine. 34 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil talk) shall they hear therein, nor lying; 35 a recompense from your Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, the All-merciful of whom they have no power to speak. 37 On the day when the angels and the Spirit stand arrayed, they speak not, saving him whom the Beneficent alloweth and who speaketh right. 38 That will be the Day of Ultimate Truth: whoever wills, then, let him take the path that leads towards his Sustainer! 39 Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!" 40
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
