And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
