Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 high above? 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
