Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
