Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know all that you do: 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
