The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it, 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
