The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
