The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 By the Promised Day! 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
